clocks tutorial

I'm sure many of you want to know how to make those cute clocks that you can display on your page or let others use on their pages. Well, i'll try to explain. :)

First, make an image for your clock. Here is an example of one of my clock images: It is called clock5.gif



Now, open up notepad and paste this code:



Now, in the code where it says NUMBER COLOR HERE, put the color you want the clocks numbers to be.

In the code there is a position absolute so you can position the numbers on the clock.

Where it says YOUR SITE URL put your sites url. This is so people can click on the clock and it will go to your page!

There is also a CLOCK MADE BY, you can put for example: "Clock made by Jenny @ wishable.net!". This is so when people hover over the clock they can see the message.

Ok, to get it ready to put it on a page! Open notepad and paste this code:



Set the height and width for your clock image. Make sure you put the full URL for your clock5.html. Save this as clock5.js

Now, just use this code to put it on your page:
